Her approach is to promote innovative methods of teaching and learning (using technology, flipped classroom) and focus on interactive teaching techniques while considering student diversity. Dr. Meryem strongly believes that the learning environment has a great influence on teaching and learning. She does not like to teach in the classroom. If we look back in time most of the learning was done inside the classroom. It was the single most important learning environment. Certain times students may feel bored and some may always link it with negative thoughts.
