Official University Email Accounts for Arab Open University Students
All students enrolled at Arab Open University (AOU) are provided with an official university email account. This account serves as the primary communication channel between students and university staff, including both academic and administrative personnel. It is also utilized for accessing online classes and receiving notifications related to activities on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Account Creation and Access
New student email accounts are created at the beginning of each semester. Once the accounts have been created, the IT department send an SMS containing the email address and password details in addition to other AOU systems credentials. e-Ticketing Helpdesk System
To enhance communication and service delivery, the IT Department has introduced an e-Ticketing Helpdesk system for all AOU stakeholders, including students. To submit a support request or report on an issue, need to send an email to "support@aou.org.bh". This action automatically generates an e-ticket number and notify both the user and the IT team. Responses to submitted tickets are expected within 24 hours during business days.
Email Password Requirements
- Minimum length: 8 characters
- Must include characters from at least two of the following categories:
- Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Digits (0-9)
- Special characters (e.g., !, $, #, %, etc.)
