The Translation Center offers professional, high-quality written translation and proofreading services. It serves the AOU community; transferring knowledge from and to interested parties within the Institution and beyond. In addition, the Center contributes in training highly competent translators; enabling them to work on legal and general documents.
The Translation Center aims to:
1. Host trainee students, graduates and even staff members who would like to take part in AOU Translation and/or Proofreading activities.
2. Liaise with AOU Training Centre to provide training workshops, mainly in translation and proofreading.
3. Liaise with the Public Relations Department; in order to issue and/or help draft news both in English and Arabic, given that PR is the Department that represents AOU Bahrain in all sectors.
