Following the success achieved as a result of establishing the Writing Centre, FLS embarked on establishing a parallel center that focuses on enhancing the students' English-speaking skills. All FLS faculty members (Full-time/Part-time) conduct stimulating speaking activities that motivate students to talk, discuss theme-based innovative topics, listen to English exchanges, … etc.
The Speaking Skills Centre aims to create a platform for students to practice their English and receive purposeful coaching from their tutors pertinent to enhancing the quality of their speaking skills and helping them develop their creative thinking skills. The Speaking Skills Center activities boost the students’ confidence, help improve their critical thinking, and stimulate their personal development in communication in an academic environment.
