​Arab Open University (AOU) had the pleasure of hosting its first-ever intercollegiate debate tournament, welcoming three esteemed institutions: the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), University of Bahrain (UOB), and Royal University for Women (RUW).

AOU was proudly represented by six talented students: Kaif Jhangeer Butt, Nouf Kareem, Saara Khanem, Abdelrahman Hesham Abdelhamed, Aneesa Muhammed Irshad, and Ahmed Mohamed Isa Ali Aljowder. Under the guidance of their coach, Ms. Courtney Miles, the AOU debate team delivered strong performances and secured third place after two intense rounds of competition.
