The Arab Open University signs a memorandum of understanding with IEEE to enhance cooperation in technical and research fields
The Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Bahrain Branch. The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Her Excellency Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the University, and on behalf of IEEE by Dr. Ali Hussein Zulait, Head of the Bahrain Branch. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in several areas, including establishing a student branch and a technical community within the university, supporting the technical and technological development of students and faculty members, organizing joint workshops and training, and holding conferences and seminars aimed at societal impact through technology, in addition to cooperation in joint research projects.

Dr. Najma Taqi stressed that this agreement represents an important step towards strengthening the partnership between the university and leading technical entities, which opens new horizons for university students in the fields of innovation and scientific research.
