    Arab Open University signs a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance partnership with the Alumni Club

    As part of its efforts to enhance the educational and professional experience of its students and graduates, the Arab Open University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Alumni Club, with the aim of establishing a fruitful partnership that contributes to developing students' capabilities and linking them to the Bahraini labor market.

     

    The agreement was signed by Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University, and Mr. Abdul Latif Ahmed Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Club, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides, including Ms. Sakina Nasser, Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Also present from the club were Mr. Ali Mohammed Salibikh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mahmoud Sayyar, Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Masoud Mustafa, Executive Director of the Club, and Dr. Dina Fakhrawi, Director of the Alumni Club Library.

    On this occasion, Mr. Abdul Latif Ahmed Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Club, expressed his pride in signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab Open University, noting that it embodies the club's commitment to supporting education and training and strengthening partnerships with leading national institutions. Al Zayani stressed that this step represents a qualitative addition to the club's role in serving the community and developing human skills, saying: “Through this agreement, we look forward to organizing programs and events that enrich the Bahraini community and contribute to providing distinguished opportunities to develop competencies in line with the needs of the labor market."

     

    Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University, pointed out that “signing the memorandum of understanding with the Alumni Club represents a strategic step towards enhancing the education and training experience of students and graduates. Cooperation with external parties is vital to provide students with the necessary skills that are in line with the requirements of the changing labor market."

    Dr. Taqi stressed that we are committed to providing an interactive and rich educational environment that allows students to benefit from the knowledge and practical experiences provided by the Alumni Club. Through this partnership, we look forward to organizing training programs and workshops that contribute to developing practical skills and enhancing employment opportunities.

     

    The areas of cooperation stipulated in the memorandum include organizing joint events, workshops, and conferences, in addition to providing career guidance to students to introduce them to available job opportunities. The agreement also aims to exchange experiences and knowledge between the two parties, which enhances the quality of education and helps develop the practical skills of students and graduates.

     

    This initiative reflects the keenness of the Arab Open University and the Alumni Club to build strategic partnerships that support continuing education and contribute to enhancing community development.
