His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, received Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University (AOU), in an official meeting to mark her recent appointment.

During the meeting, His Excellency congratulated Dr. Taqi on her new role as President of AOU, following the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council. He affirmed the Council's full support for the university's efforts to develop and enhance its academic programs in the coming period.

Dr. Taqi expressed her gratitude to the Minister for his ongoing support and close follow-up of higher education institutions. She reiterated the university's commitment to achieving academic excellence and aligning its goals with the strategic vision of the Higher Education Council to advance the university education sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
