The Arab Open University held an Orientation Day for new students for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025. The university President, Dr. Najma Taqi, deans, heads of administrative departments and the academic and administrative staff attended the event. 

In her welcoming speech, Dr. Taqi expressed her delight in welcoming the new students to the university community, noting that this stage marks an important beginning in their academic and professional journey. She encouraged students to work hard and continually strive to achieve their ambitions, emphasizing that the university is fully committed to supporting students by providing the appropriate educational environment and resources. 

The Orientation Day featured numerous activities aimed at introducing students to various aspects of university life. The program included detailed presentations on academic policies and bylaws, guided-tours of academic and administrative facilities, and comprehensive information on student services such as academic advising, psychological support, and student activities. The event also explained how to make use of the digital platforms adopted by the university.
