The Arab Open University organizes a workshop to introduce the academic regulations related to examinations
The Arab Open University held a workshop to introduce the regulations and laws related to grades and examination supervision, presented by Ms. Tahira Al-Sahlawi, Head of the Admissions, Registration, and Examinations Department at the university. The workshop was attended by a number of administrative and academic staff. It covered the policies and procedures followed in examinations.
Dr. Najma Taqi, the President of the University, stated, "The importance of this workshop lies in enhancing the awareness of academic and administrative staff regarding the academic regulations related to examinations and their implementation. This ensures their accurate and effective application, contributing to the improvement and organization of the examination process in line with the quality standards adopted by the university."
Ms. Tanaji Ahmed, Head of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, also provided an explanation of the mechanism followed for exam grading and inputting grades at the university, highlighting the importance of the grading and review process to ensure accuracy and fairness in student evaluation. She emphasized that these procedures are part of the university's commitment to achieving the highest academic quality standards.
