The Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain Hosts the Open Learning Forum in Collaboration with the Regional English Language Office of the U.S. Embassy in Manama
As part of enhancing academic and educational collaboration, the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the Open Learning Forum in cooperation with the Regional English Language Office of the U.S. Embassy in Manama. The forum was held at the university campus, attended by many teachers and students from various specialties.
The forum contained participation of several orators and experts in the field of education, who conducted workshops and interactive lectures on various important education-related topics. Artificial intelligence and its applications in education, classroom culture, and social-emotional learning were specifically highlighted.
Dr. Hisham Al-Tahawi, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs and Research, emphasized the importance of such forums in enhancing the skills and knowledge of both tutors and students. He praised the ongoing collaboration between the university and local and international partners to achieve these goals. He explained that these events significantly contribute to the development of educational capabilities and enhance communication and cooperation among teachers across different fields and educational levels.
