Arab Open University has announced the Academic and Administrative Excellence Awards for the academic year 2023-2024, as part of its policy to motivate its members and to spromote a culture of excellence and creativity pertaining to the performance of its employees.

In this regard, while honouring the winners of the Award, Dr. Najma Taqi, AOU President, highlighted the importance of these awards in expressing heartful gratitude to all University members for their great efforts over the past period. She also highlighted the need to continue the approach of excellence in performance to enhance the provision of quality education to AOU students.

Dr. Nawal Shekar, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Language Studies, has earned the Academic 'Excellence in Teaching' Award, where Mr. Ahmed Kanana, Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Studies, has earned the Academic 'Excellence in Advising' Award.

Moreover, three distinguished employees have earned the 'Administrative Excellence' Award, as follows:

Mr. Ebrahim Azzam, Administrative at The Department of Training, Continuous Education and Community Service, Mrs. Meaad Shams, Head of The Department of Financial Affairs and Mrs. Fay Al-Saffar Administrative at the Department of Quality Assurance And Accreditation.

This tribute aims to recognize the outstanding contributions of the above-mentioned staff members in their fields of work, and also to reflect the University's commitment to promoting excellence and quality in all aspects.
