Zainab Nader Mahmood is an accomplished English educator and academic leader whose career reflects steady growth, intellectual depth, and a strong commitment to student development. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied English Language Studies and has continuously sought opportunities to refine both her academic expertise and leadership capacity. Following her postgraduate studies, she volunteered with A-Academy at the University of Bahrain, teaching linguistics and supporting learners in developing analytical awareness of language structure and use.

Zainab began her full-time professional journey at Al Rawabi Middle and High School, where she steadily advanced through a series of academic and leadership roles. She taught IGCSE English (0510) from 2022 to 2025, while also serving as an IBDP English A and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) teacher.

Alongside her classroom responsibilities, Zainab assumed multiple leadership positions. She served as Grade Level Coordinator, Head of the High School English Department, Head of Stages 9–10, and ultimately Dean of Middle School Students.  She was an active member of the Internal Quality Review Team and the Curriculum Development Committee, contributing to institutional growth and academic alignment. In addition, she played a key role in organizing the Al Rawabi Teacher’s Forum, fostering professional dialogue and collaboration among educators.

In parallel with her school-based roles, Zainab has worked as a tutor since 2013 across multiple platforms, including BAIMS, TELP, and university-level tutoring. Her tutoring experience spans language development, examination preparation, and individualized academic mentoring, enabling students to achieve measurable progress and confidence in their learning.

Beyond education and leadership, Zainab is deeply committed to creative writing. She completed a creative writing program with Charleston University, and several of her short stories were published in the anthology Under the Bahraini Sky.
