Main Goal Statement
The Entrepreneurship Center for Sustainability and Innovation at the Arab Open University – Kingdom of Bahrain is dedicated to nurturing a spirit of ingenuity, forward-thinking, and sustainable social impact. In harmony with the university’s broader mission, the center equips students and graduates to actively support national progress by connecting academic knowledge with practical industry applications. Through its strategic framework, the center serves as a driving force for transforming ideas into entrepreneurial ventures that address Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while reinforcing the role of entrepreneurship as a cornerstone of innovation and social engagement. Based on this context, three strategic goals are presented:
a. Empower students and graduates for national development
Equip learners with the skills, mindset, and practical experience needed to contribute meaningfully to Bahrain’s progress by integrating academic knowledge with industry applications.
b. Promote Sustainable and Impact-Driven Entrepreneurship
Support the creation of entrepreneurial ventures that address real-world challenges and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering long-term social and environmental impact.
c. Cultivate a Culture of Innovation and Engagement
Encourage creativity, and active social involvement by positioning entrepreneurship as a key driver of innovation and community transformation.
