Ahmed Abdullah Janahi, a 2021 graduate, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Systems Practice) from the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Ahmed began his professional journey in 2014 by working at Tamkeen, where he held an entry-level position. During that period, he gained valuable practical experience; however, he faced an obstacle in his career progression due to not having a Bachelor's degree. This prompted him to decide to complete his academic studies and join the Arab Open University to develop himself and achieve his professional ambitions.
The Arab Open University significantly contributed to supporting his journey. The academic curricula enabled him to develop his academic and professional thinking, which was directly reflected in his performance in the work environment. Furthermore, the flexibility of lecture schedules was a key factor in helping him balance study and work, allowing him to move forward with steady steps in his academic and professional path. Additionally, he was able to directly apply many of the concepts he acquired during his studies to his work, which had a clear impact on his rapid development and career progression.
Today, Ahmed holds the position of Head of the Personnel Training Department, benefiting from both his academic and practical experience to continue his journey successfully, proving that will power coupled with knowledge can make a difference.
Ahmed concludes his story with a message of thanks and appreciation to the University and its academic and administrative staff, saying:
