Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, visited Arab Open University, Kingdom of Bahrain branch. During her visit she met with the Director of the University, Dr. Gharmallah Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, as well as members of the administrative and academic staff.

During the visit, the Secretary-General inspected the university's buildings and facilities, noting and praising the University readiness to receive students and provide educational services of high quality, in line with the current measures and circumstances to ensure the health and safety of all. Moreover, her Highness expressed appreciation for the efforts of all those in charge of this educational institution, its distinguished position, and its important role in the system of Higher Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the university's accredited programs and academic disciplines. She also noted the keenness of the University Management to use and apply the latest technologies for the academic disciplines required by the labor market, wishing them continued success.
