Dr. Najma Taqi Participates in Workshop on the QS World University Rankings 2028
Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University – Bahrain, participated in a workshop organized by the Higher Education Council in collaboration with QS and Ahlia University, aimed at enhancing the readiness of higher education institutions in Bahrain for the QS 2028 Rankings.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, alongside representatives of universities and higher education institutions. Discussions covered QS ranking methodologies, evaluation criteria, institutional data preparation, participation requirements, and the Study in Bahrain initiative and its role in attracting international students.
This participation reflects the University’s commitment to advancing academic and research performance, enhancing institutional data quality, and aligning with international higher education standards.
