Arab Open University Bahrain held its Town Hall & Academic Year Kick-Off Celebration, for its academic and administrative staff to mark the beginning of the 2026-2027 academic year, as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional communication and review the University's future directions and strategic plans.

The celebration commenced with welcoming remarks by Dr. Najma Taqi, President of Arab Open University Bahrain, who welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of teamwork and fostering collaboration among academic and administrative units to support the University's strategic objectives and enhance the quality of services provided to students.

The celebration also included a review of the key priorities and initiatives planned for the new academic year, in addition to discussing plans for advancing the educational process, promoting scientific research, and supporting student and community engagement activities in line with the University's vision and mission of delivering high-quality higher education.

Dr. Najma Taqi reaffirmed the University's commitment to providing an academic and administrative environment that supports excellence and innovation, while continuously developing services and programmes that enhance the student experience and contribute to outstanding educational outcomes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which helps strengthen communication and integration across the University's various departments. They also reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their efforts in support of the University's mission and aspirations throughout the new academic year.
