Arab Open University Honored for Its Role in Supporting Students and Practical Training
The Arab Open University – Bahrain was honored during the third ceremony held to recognize students participating in the “EMPOWER” practical training programme, organized by the Alumni Club at the Isa bin Salman Cultural Hall at the Club’s headquarters. The recognition was presented in appreciation of the University’s role in supporting students and encouraging them to benefit from practical training and volunteering opportunitie.
The ceremony was attended by several members of the Alumni Club’s Board of Directors, along with a number of academic leaders and representatives of higher education institutions, including Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University. During the ceremony, the University was honored in recognition of its support and contribution to initiatives aimed at empowering students and developing their practical and professional skills.
The University’s recognition reflects its commitment to strengthening the practical component of the educational process and its efforts to provide opportunities that enable students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world environments, contributing to the development of their skills and better preparing them for the requirements of the labour market.
