Brigadier Abdullah Ali, Deputy Governor of the Northern Governorate, inaugurated the Career Day exhibition organized by the Arab Open University, in the presence of Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the University, and with the participation of a number of institutions and companies from various sectors. The event aimed to introduce students and graduates to the career opportunities and professional pathways available in the labor market.
Career Day was organized to strengthen direct engagement between the university's students and participating organizations by showcasing internship and employment opportunities, in addition to presenting students' graduation projects and entrepreneurial initiatives. The event provided students with an excellent platform to demonstrate their innovations while developing their professional and entrepreneurial skills.
During the event, the Deputy Governor of the Northern Governorate toured the exhibition booths, accompanied by several university officials. He reviewed a number of outstanding student graduation projects, commending the high quality and creativity of the ideas and projects presented. He also emphasized the importance of organizing such career-focused events, as they help guide students toward suitable career paths and enhance their readiness to enter the labor market.
For her part, Dr. Najma Taqi reaffirmed the Arab Open University's commitment to organizing initiatives and events that contribute to the development of students' and graduates' skills. She also highlighted the university's dedication to strengthening partnerships with public and private sector organizations in line with national development goals and the evolving needs of the labor market.
