The Arab Open University organized its Ramadan gathering ' Ghabga' for 2026, in the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the University, along with members of the academic and administrative bodies, alumni, and students. The event was held in a celebratory atmosphere filled with warmth, camaraderie, and fraternal connection.

In her address on this occasion, Her Excellency Dr. Najma Taqi expressed her delight at bringing together her students during this holy month. She emphasized that the university is not merely an academic institution, but a home that embraces its students and strengthens the bonds between them even after graduation, working to maintain communication and facilitate the exchange of experiences across different generations."

She affirmed that the university's alumni serve as its ambassadors in society, and that their successes and achievements reflect the university's role in their academic and professional lives. She also encouraged students, as well as academic and administrative staff, to continue participating in extracurricular events and activities, as this contributes to the development of their scientific, practical, and social skills.
