Students from the Arab Open University (AOU) in the Kingdom of Bahrain achieved a remarkable milestone by securing second place in the AI+X 2025 Artificial Intelligence Hackathon, held in Kuwait from November 12 to 13, 2025, as part of the Global Summit on AI Horizons.

The event witnessed a broad participation from government and regional organizations, alongside leading academics, experts, and decision-makers. The hackathon brought together competitive teams of young innovators specializing in technology and innovation, who presented AI-driven solutions to address real-world challenges in education, employment, and public services. Amid strong competition, the AOU Bahrain team showcased exceptional creativity and skill in leveraging AI technologies, earning them a well-deserved second place.
