Arab Open University Strengthens Academic and Research Collaboration with New Zealand Universities
Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University, emphasized the importance of strengthening international academic and research relations and building strategic partnerships between educational institutions through knowledge and expertise exchange, contributing to the development of academic and research capacities aligned with the university’s academic vision.
This came during her welcoming of a high-level academic delegation from New Zealand universities, including Auckland University, Massey University, Otago University, and Auckland University of Technology (AUT), alongside representatives from the Bahrain Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
The meeting focused on opportunities for academic and research collaboration, exchange of expertise, and exploring future partnership initiatives.
Dr. Taqi highlighted the university’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships to enhance educational and research services and develop academic programs according to global best practices. The visiting delegation stressed the importance of knowledge exchange and institutional capacity building to foster sustainable cooperation between international educational institutions.
