Digital Media Editing Workshop Held as Part of Summer Camp 2025: Enhancing Creative Skills in Digital Media
As part of the Summer Camp 2025 activities, the Department of Training, Continuing Education, and Community Service at the Arab Open University organized a specialized training workshop titled “Digital Media Editing", supervised by Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Moati. The workshop was held from August 17 to 19, 2025, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in halls FF001 and FF010.
The workshop targeted young participants interested in developing their skills in digital media editing using the latest software and technologies. Attendees received hands-on training in designing and producing professional video clips, in addition to advanced applications in photo editing and integrating visual and audio effects.

Over the course of three days, the workshop covered a wide range of topics, including the fundamentals of digital editing, the use of professional editing tools, and the development of practical projects in an interactive environment aimed at enhancing participants' creativity in digital content production.
Commenting on the initiative, AOU President Dr. Najma Taqi stressed that such training programs reflect the university's commitment to empowering youth with advanced technical skills, thereby enhancing their career prospects while fostering innovation and creativity in digital media fields.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Hassan Razaki, Head of the Department of Training, Continuing Education, and Community Service, honored the participating students in recognition of their efforts and active engagement. He, also, reaffirmed the university's commitment to offering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of the rapidly evolving digital job market.
