Arab Open University Participates in Training Programme in Cooperation with Education & Training Quality Authority
A delegation from Arab Open University, led by Dr. Hisham Mohamed Ismail, Assistant President of for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, Ms. Sakina Nasser, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Ms. Tanaji Ahmed, Head of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, participated in an intensive two-day training programme, in collaboration with The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
The programme included a series of sessions to achieve the objectives in terms of promoting world-leading practices in internal and external quality, evaluating organizations' current practices against international standards, and preparing a plan of action with clear indicators for measuring and improving performance; in order to achieve the Institution's mission and strategic objectives. This programme has contributed to the exchange of experiences between members of the delegation and representatives of universities, the Higher Education Council and the Education and Training Quality Authority. The University's participation in this training programme is part of the University's belief in the importance of its global, regional and local foundations in the field of quality education and training in higher education institutions.
