Within the framework of its keenness to provide students with the skills for academic success and avoiding academic probation, the Student Counseling Unit at the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain organized an advisory webinar entitled "How to avoid being an at-risk student" on Thursday the sixteenth of March 2023. It was presented by Dr. Omar Awad, Assistant Professor at the College of Business Management.

This webinar aimed to educate university students, especially students at risk, on the importance of raising the academic level to avoid the risk of academic warnings, in addition to presenting some strategies that would contribute to the process of raising the academic rate. It also aimed to inform them of the varied sources of support available on campus that would contribute to achieving success and academic progress. 

The lecture was highly interactive and was enriched with further discussion from the participating students.
