On Tuesday 21st March 2023, FLS-Bahrain in collaboration with the Student Affairs and Graduates Dept. launched the FLS Career Talk, a platform for learning and motivating students through sharing experiences and success stories. Three FLS graduates and one student were invited to talk about their successful careers and to share the valuable experiences of their efficacious journeys.
The event started with the alumni, Mr. Maitham Fardan, who spoke about his career in translation and his experience in teaching as a part-time tutor. That was followed by, Ms. Sally Ashwas, who is currently pursuing her MA in TEFL at AOU while teaching as a part-time tutor. Their talks inspired the audience when they spoke about their journeys as students of FLS giving credit to their tutors who helped them in their great achievements.
The following two speakers, Ms. Rabab Abdel Aziz and Heba Sayed, spoke about their experiences as entrepreneurs as each of them has her own business. They also, mentioned the skills that they acquired from FLS in gaining confidence in communication skills.
This event was an eye-opener for the attendees as they were inspired by the persuasive and successful stories of the presenters.
The event ended with honoring the participants of the FLS Career Talk.
