​Zahra Ahmed Ali, a graduate of the year 2013, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Administrative Systems from the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

A graduate, the sight impairment did not deter her from studying, as she had a blind eye due to a genetic disease while she was in the middle school stage. She underwent two operations outside the Kingdom, neither of which was successful. Zahra chose to study at the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain because of the open education system that allows students with special needs to benefit from modern educational technology in studying and learning, such as converting paper academic material into electronic material and providing electronic copies of educational material through a speaking computer, in addition to the other facilities, such as individual academic advising for students with special needs, allowing the registration of materials by phone, and transferring lectures to the ground floor to facilitate the process of moving between lectures, which contributed to facilitating the teaching and learning process for her during her study period.

Zahra is currently working in the voluntary field with the aim of community partnership and changing the mental image of the community about the blind, as she believes that the blind have the ability to achieve and are capable of work in several fields.
