University President Reviews Student Council Achievements and Future Development Plans
Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University – Bahrain, met with members of the Student Council to review the Council’s key achievements over the past period and discuss future development plans and student initiatives. The meeting was attended by Dr. Khalid Mansoor, Assistant President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, and Dr. Hassan Razaki, Head of the Student and Alumni Affairs Department.
During the meeting, Student Council members highlighted the key activities and events that had been implemented and their positive impact on enhancing student engagement and enriching the university experience. The meeting also addressed a number of development proposals and initiatives aimed at improving student services and strengthening a university environment that supports creativity and excellence.
The meeting further explored ways to expand student participation in clubs and extracurricular activities and activate programmes that contribute to developing students’ academic, personal, and leadership skills, in line with the University’s commitment to preparing qualified graduates who are capable of contributing to the development of society.
Dr. Najma Taqi reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting and empowering students to actively contribute to the development of university life, commending the Student Council’s role in representing students and conveying their views and suggestions. Dr. Khalid Mansoor also praised the efforts of the Council, emphasising the importance of continuing to introduce impactful initiatives that contribute to enhancing the educational and student experience.
