The Training, Continuing Education, and Community Service Department at Arab Open University – Bahrain organized the SMART Project Workshop, delivered by Dr. Yousif Amin Alameen, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 4–5 August 2026, at the University campus.

The workshop aimed to develop participants’ practical skills in project planning and management, enabling them to transform ideas into measurable and actionable projects through the application of the SMART methodology and exposure to globally recognized project management frameworks, including PMBOK, PRINCE2, and AGILE.

The workshop covered several practical areas, including planning, organization, time management, goal setting, and real-world project simulations, helping participants acquire applicable skills for various professional environments. This workshop reflects Arab Open University’s commitment to offering quality training programs that support the development of students, graduates, and community members, while enhancing their professional readiness in line with modern best practices.
