President of the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain Inaugurates the Center for Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Innovation
Arab Open University (AOU) – Bahrain has launched the Entrepreneurship Center for Sustainability and Innovation, inaugurated by Dr. Najma Taqi, President of AOU Bahrain.
The new center aims to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among students by providing mentorship, guidance, and a supportive environment to transform innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Najma Taqi emphasized the university’s commitment to empowering future entrepreneurs and promoting innovation as a driver of sustainable development.
Dr. Sherine Badawi, Head of the Entrepreneurship Center for Sustainability and Innovation, stated that the center will support startups and aspiring entrepreneurs through an integrated ecosystem that encourages creative thinking and helps develop impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
The initiative reflects AOU Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to strengthen innovation, sustainability, and community engagement while preparing students to become future business leaders.
