Under the guidance of the Branch Director Dr. Ghurmallah Al-Ghamdi, the three local deans of the Faculty of Business Studies, Faculty of Language Studies and Faculty of Computer Studies initiated a Faculty Development Forum at Bahrain Branch. The aim of this forum is creating a positive teaching and learning atmosphere at AOU-Bahrain.
The first session was conducted on Thursday 15th October 2020. The Topic of the session was “Interactive Learning – Sharing Best Practices”. Dr. Minimol Job, Local Dean-FCS started the session by highlighting the importance of having a well thought-out pedagogy to improve the quality of teaching. The session was continued by Prof. Ghada, Local Dean- FLS, who discussed with the attendees the best practices in online teaching.
The next session will be “Preparing an effective Lesson Plan” and will be conducted by Dr. Omer Hag, Local Dean-FBS.
