Amina Abbas AlMowali, holds a Master’s degree in Digital Media and Graphic Design from the University of Bahrain with distinction. Her thesis explores the role of smartphone application design in enhancing the professional practices of digital media practitioners.
Amina’s extensive teaching and professional experience includes her current role as a lecturer in Graphic and Multimedia Design Technology at the Arab Open University. Previously, she taught Visual Communication and Animation Design at the University of Bahrain. She also has specialized expertise in teaching students with hearing impairments (deaf and mute), focusing on animation design in tailored educational environments.
Her professional roles also include:
• Digital Creative Design Lecturer at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development.
• Multimedia Design Lecturer for employees at the Ministry of Social Development.
• Digital Media Specialist at the University of Bahrain Media Center, where she developed innovative digital content and designs.
Amina AlMowali is also a member of the Executive Office of the Youth Committee at the Supreme Council for Women, actively contributing to initiatives that empower youth and support their development. She has volunteered as a graphic designer and digital media creator with the committee and was awarded the Ideal Member Certificate.
She worked as a Multimedia Journalist and Graphic Designer in the Economic Department of AlAyam Press, contributing to the creation of innovative media content and showcasing her skills in journalism and digital design.
Amina AlMowali is an active researcher with international publications focusing on digital creativity, media-based pedagogy, and fostering entrepreneurial mindsets. She has also earned professional certifications in leadership and productivity enhancement from prestigious institutions like BIPA.
Her technical expertise spans a range of advanced design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects. Her interests include digital education, technopreneurship, and creative multimedia innovation.
