Admission Requirements
The admission requirements at Arab Open University – Kingdom of Bahrain include the following:
1. The applicant must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, provided that the certificate is accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
2. The applicant must take the Arab Open University's English language placement test, or submit evidence of passing one of the internationally accredited English language tests, in accordance with the following table:

Note: The files of all admitted students shall be attested by the Higher Education Council, and accordingly the students shall be provided with a HEC ID number once approved.

This programme qualifies prospect students to obtain a bachelor's degree in Data Science and they can apply their skills in various fields including statistics , data visualization, data management and analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning, mathematical computing models, economic benefits of modern statistics.
Method of delivery
The method of teaching for BSc (Hons) in Data Science programme is blended learning.
Students seeking a BSc Honours degree in Data Science (DS) at AOU must complete at least 131 credit hours including the 96 CH core modules and 35 AOU requirements.
