“Awareness Begins with Screening… Free Check-ups in Collaboration with Al-Hilal Hospital”
The Student and Alumni Affairs Department of the Arab Open University organized an awareness initiative titled “Awareness Begins with Screening" on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the university campus. The campaign aimed to enhance health awareness among university students and staff, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles by emphasizing the critical role of regular medical examinations in early disease detection and prevention.
The event featured complimentary medical screenings, including blood pressure and glucose level measurements, along with other essential health indicators. These services were conducted under the supervision of a specialized medical team from Al-Hilal Medical Hospital. Additionally, participants received exclusive discount vouchers provided by the hospital.
The initiative saw remarkable engagement from attendees, with many students and university members participating in the check-ups and blood tests, expressing their appreciation for the event, which contributed to enhancing their health awareness.
