​​The Student and Alumni Affairs Department of the Arab Open University organized an awareness initiative titled “Awareness Begins with Screening" on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the university campus. The campaign aimed to enhance health awareness among university students and staff, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles by emphasizing the critical role of regular medical examinations in early disease detection and prevention.

The event featured complimentary medical screenings, including blood pressure and glucose level measurements, along with other essential health indicators. These services were conducted under the supervision of a specialized medical team from Al-Hilal Medical Hospital. Additionally, participants received exclusive discount vouchers provided by the hospital.

The initiative saw remarkable engagement from attendees, with many students and university members participating in the check-ups and blood tests, expressing their appreciation for the event, which contributed to enhancing their health awareness. This campaign aligns with the university's ongoing commitment to cultivating a safe and health-conscious academic environment while advancing medical awareness- efforts  that positively influence both academic performance and overall well-being within and beyond the campus.
