A team of students from the Arab Open University secured second place in the Cybersecurity Hackathon held on Thursday, April 17, 2025. The event was jointly organized by INJAZ Bahrain and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK).
The participating team underwent an advanced training program that included a series of educational and interactive activities in the fields of cybersecurity and entrepreneurship, under the guidance of leading industry experts and professionals.
The program featured specialized workshops, networking opportunities with leaders from the banking and tech sectors, and a collaborative working environment that enabled participants to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. As part of the program, students also visited a BBK branch, where they gained insights into banking operations and explored potential career opportunities.
This achievement reflects the Arab Open University's commitment to equipping its students with essential skills in cybersecurity, innovation, and entrepreneurship—skills that align with the evolving demands of the job market in Bahrain and the broader region.
