The University President welcome members of the Executive Committee of the "OFOQ" Project
Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the Arab Open University, recently hosted members of the "OFOQ" project's Executive Committee, a collaborative initiative between the Isa Town Social Charity Society and the Bahrain Society for the Care of Sickle Cell Disease Patients. The project focuses on assisting secondary and preparatory students in their transition to higher education and vocational training, aligning their ambitions with labor market demands.
During the meeting, Dr. Taqi emphasized the vital role of volunteerism and partnerships with civil society organizations in Bahrain. She highlighted the commitment of higher education institutions to supporting such initiatives, aligning with the university's strategic goals.
The "OFOQ" delegation, led by Mohammed Shamloh, General Manager of the Isa Town Charitable Society, and Dr. Raed Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Committee, expressed their appreciation for Dr. Taqi's warm reception and commitment to the project. The delegation praised the productive discussions and collaborative spirit, which yielded new ideas for the project's success.
