​The Arab Open University and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the fields of training, development and scientific research in the presence of Dr. Najma Taqi, President of the University, and Mr. Ali Al Baqali, Chief Executive Officer of Alba.

The agreement aims to hone the skills of university students and graduates in line with the needs of the labor market, provide specialized training programs for Alba employees, implement joint research projects, and cooperate between the two parties in implementing community initiatives that support sustainable development.

Dr. Najma Taqi stressed the importance of this partnership in enhancing integration between the academic and industrial sectors, while Mr. Ali Al Baqali pointed out Alba's continuous keenness to support all initiatives that aim to develop national competencies and hone their skills in a way that contributes to supporting the national economy.
