Bahrain University and Arab Open University Sign Memorandum of Cooperation Pertaining to Academic Fields, Knowledge Exchange and Scientific Research
Dr. Fouad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, and Dr. Ghurmallah bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, President of Arab Open University, signed a memorandum of cooperation; to cooperate in matters related to academic Fields, Knowledge Exchange and Scientific Research.
The memorandum of cooperation provides for cooperation in the areas of exchange of academic experiences, exchange of external examiners, for external examination in various study programmes, promotion of training and professional development, organization of workshops and providing training courses for academic and administrative staff members, as well as the promotion of scientific research, joint research projects, organization and hosting of international conferences and local symposiums, support for students activities, and the cooperation between technical, cultural and sports student clubs.
Dr. Fouad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, stressed the University’s aims to strengthen partnerships in order to reach the best educational outcomes in line with efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, stating that cooperation with Arab Open University is seen to benefit the two universities, throughout the exchange of academic experiences in the fields of training and scientific research.
From his part, Dr. Ghurmallah bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, President of Arab Open University, Kingdom of Bahrain, commended the academic and scientific expertise of the University of Bahrain, stressing the importance of knowledge exchange between the two universities pertaining to training and students activities in order to achieve the aspirations of the two universities.
