As part of Arab Open University's endeavor to enhance its relations with all local community organizations, Dr. Ghurmallah Bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, the University Director, and Mr. Firas Ahmed, the CEO of Silah Gulf, signed a memorandum of understanding between the two parties to strengthen the aspects of coordination and cooperation at all levels. Dr. Ghurmallah Al-Ghamdi stressed the importance of these agreements with the different organizations, whether from the government sector or the private sector, which could enhance the role of the university in developing these organizations as well as an effective contribution to the development process at the level of Bahrain in general. For his part, Dr. Hisham Eltahawy, Head of AOU Training, Continuous Education and Community Service Center, pointed out the importance of this agreement in creating many job and training opportunities for university students and graduates, particularly since Silah Gulf is considered as one of the leading companies in the field of employment. On the other hand, the agreement comes to support the university's training and employment initiative, which has been implemented since the beginning of the current academic year. The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by the University Director and the Head of the Training, Continuous Education and Community Service Center, and from the company's side, the General Manager, the Chief of Talent and the Director of Business Development.
