Omar Khaldoon Abahsain is a computer science scholar and software engineer specializing in secure coding, software engineering, and applied AI. His work encompasses AI-assisted code review, explainability, and trustworthy automation for developer workflows, as well as practical applications in healthcare analytics. He has industry experience at King Hamad University Hospital and Arabian Gulf University, and currently teaches at the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has published Scopus-indexed conference papers and collaborates across academia and industry to translate research into classroom practice.
