I am Md Asdaque Hussain, an Associate Professor in the faculty of computer studies at AOU- Bahrain.I have stayed with Purdue University-USA for collaborative research in SHM, visited AIT Thailand for academic collaboration and taught in African nation under UNDP program. I pursued my PhD degree in Information and communication engineering from South Korea. My primary research interest lies in wireless sensor/adhoc networks, digital forensics, and structural health monitoring.
During my PhD I worked extensively on wireless sensors and Adhoc networks, where my focus was on the design and analysis of medium access control protocols. This work was amplified with the help of my master’s and PhD students. In total I have supervised ten master’s student and currently two students are under my guidance. Teaching has been my passion and caused me choose academia as my career. I have published my research work in peer reviewed journals indexed in SCI/SCIE, Web of Science and Scopus.
