On Sunday, May 9, 2021, the University's Learning Resources Center, in cooperation with the Faculty of Computing Studies, concluded the last training workshop on “Research Skills and Techniques in Digital Resources", which was part of a series of training workshops that began on May 3, 2021. As Ms. Alya Al-Aradi, Head of the Learning Resources Center, presented approximately 7 training workshops during this period targeted nearly 220 Students from the First Academic Year. The goal of these workshops was to enhance the skills of research among students and to familiarize them with the steps needed to conduct research properly. To take advantage of it to solve the TMA, as it is necessary in most of the academic courses to use the E- library to solve the assessments. The workshops included two parts: theoretical and practical: The importance of the E-library was addressed in the theoretical part, while in the practical part; students were trained on how to conduct research. The workshops achieved great success among both faculty members and students; therefore, the recorded online workshops were uploaded on the LMS so the students can refer to them whenever needed. Finally, the Learning Resources Center extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Dean and the Academic Staff at the College of Information Technology and Computing for their keenness to cooperate with the Learning Resources Center and support them to establish such workshops that would develop the educational process and enhance student learning.
