AOU Training Center holds a session about Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications
AOU Training, Continuous Education and Community Service Center, in cooperation with Cambridge International Education, held an awareness session about the professional development qualifications PDQs offered by this prestigious institution. It is worth noting that Arab Open University has become an accredited center for the provision of Cambridge professional programs and thus becomes the first university in Bahrain to offer such programs. The session was moderated by Dr. Hisham Eltahawy, Head of AOU Training, Continuous Education and Community Service Centre, along with Mr. Ibrahim Azzam, the administrator of the Training Centre, and from Cambridge International Education, Mrs. Sarah Turner – Head of Professional Qualifications for Teaching and Education, and Mr. Ahmed Assaf, the Senior Manager for the Middle East and Gulf Countries. The session was attended by a number of academic and administrative staff, students and graduates, as well as a number of teachers from different private schools in Bahrain. During the session, a number of points related to the international certificate of teaching and learning to be presented through AOU Training Center during the coming period were reviewed, and its details will be announced through the official channels of the university.
