Discussing “Research Opportunities in the Post COVID-19 Era” at Arab Open University-Bahrain
Around 50 academics, researchers and scholars from around the world discussed the recent trends in research, best practices in survey research for social sciences, methods in Interdisciplinary research, and advancement in management research in the International virtual seminar titled of “ADVANCEMENT AND PRACTICES IN RESEARCH: Research Opportunities in the Post COVID-19 Era.”
The Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Ghurmullah AlGhamdi, Director of Arab Open University-Bahrain who pointed out in his opening speech that the topic is timely as it addresses new strategies, challenges, and opportunities for research Post Covid19. In her opening remarks, Prof Ghada Abdel Hafeez, chair Scientific Research Council and Faculty of Language Studies local dean stated that the Seminar objectives are derived from Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 which encourages creating platforms for a knowledge-based economy.
Three distinguished professors from renowned universities participated in the Seminar: Professor Cihan Cobanoglu, University of South Florida, USA, talked about “Best Practices in Survey Research for Social Sciences During Post-COVID Era.” Professor Amandeep Dhir, from the University of Agder, Norway delivered a presentation on “Theory, Methods and Interdisciplinary research” and Professor Paata Brekashvili, from Ilia State University, Georgia presented on “Advancement of Management Research Using Polynomial Regression: Insights of Psychological Contract Theory."
