Arab Open University Participated in the open discussion about "Reflections of Digital Transformation during Post-Pandemic Period"
As a part of the university responsibility towards the local community, AOU is very keen in encouraging the academic and admin staff in taking part in different community's events. Dr. Wahiba AlSayed, faculty member at the faculty of Business Studies and head of the student counseling unit at the university, participated in a series of discussions organized by the Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) about “the reflection of the hypothetical transformation imposed by Covid-19 pandemic on both education and work". Dr. Wahiba presented the university's experience in distance learning and e-learning, which is considered the first experience in the Gulf in this field. Also, she discussed the required skills to enable the student to succeed in this system.
