The Department of Student Affairs and Graduates at the Arab Open University in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with the Alumni Club, organized a lecture via virtual space entitled “Managing My Small Business." This lecture was presented by Ms. Lonah Al-Halal, CEO of the e-learning center “Let's Learn" - on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
During the lecture, Ms. Lonah Al-Halal addressed several axes, including the foundations of transforming a simple idea into a small project and the steps that must be followed when starting the project, such as providing the necessary capital, proper planning, and branding, which in turn contribute to the excellence of products and services provided to others.
She also presented the different ways to change the strategies used in the project based on the sudden change in customer demand or the local and global market, such as developing or modifying the current product and services provided, or expanding and discovering new markets and horizons for existing products to ensure the continuity and success of the small project.
In conclusion, Ms. Lonah Al-Halal expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Student Affairs and Graduates Department for their tireless efforts to communicate with the alumni through the activities and events offered by the Alumni Club, which contribute to enhancing the university's image in the community.
