Based on the feeling that Arab Open University-Kingdom of Bahrain should have a role in supporting the Palestinian people in the Gazza Strip, which is being subjected to a series of the most terrible massacres in human history, the university has found that the best it can do is to contribute by supporting students in higher education institutions to stand and endure in order to be able to continue their education at this critical juncture.

The university conducted a series of contacts with the Director of the Islamic University in Gazza (the largest University in Gazza and Palestine, which was almost completely destroyed under the recent Israeli bombing), to consider what could be done by the Arab Open University branch of the Kingdom of Bahrain in these circumstances. It’s evident that a great role could be played by establishing liaison between the two universities in order for the Arab Open University branch of Bahrain to promote for sponsoring the students of the Islamic University in Gazza for the next semester. The Arab Open University branch in Bahrain can only play a duty to ensure the adoption of the sponsoring of students of Islamic University in Gazza by helping monetarily.
