Arab Open University (AOU), Bahrain has the privilege of aiding an E-Library for all the Branches through the Learning Management System (ACES). It includes a range of resources from the Oxford University, EBSCO and U.K. Open University, This facility encompasses innumerable options and links to adjoin the learners’ needs as well as to widen their perspectives.
The e-library aims to :
(1) To provide members of AOU Community with anytime/anywhere access to library services and information resources irrespectively of their geographical location, social or employment circumstances
(2) To support AOU graduate, and undergraduate programs in its instructional and information needs
(3) To provide strong research collections that support and strengthen academic programs and the research interests of faculty and preserve them for the future
(4) To work with collaborating organizations and institutions in providing library and learning resource facilities and services
(5) To continuously increase the holdings of the e-library and other learning resources to meet the College Community information needs.
